Who can use it and how much does it cost?

Paramount commercial members will pay their normal office visit co-pay or coinsurance, and payments can easily be made by credit card. Coverage for other Paramount product lines will be coming in the future. A visit is estimated to cost $49 out of pocket for non-covered product lines. Please call Paramount Member Services at the number on the back of your ID card to determine your level of coverage.

How does it work?

ProMedica OnDemand provides convenient care for common conditions and illnesses – ones that you may have waited to see a doctor in-person about or went to an urgent care to address. A patient is able to choose an available health care provider and register indicating their reason for visiting, medical history and other helpful information for the provider.

Patients speak with providers in a similar conversation that would be had in an exam room – only you’re using video-enabled technology through your smartphone, tablet or computer. Visits last only minutes and providers are able to send prescriptions as needed to your preferred pharmacy.

How do I get started?

Download the ProMedica OnDemand app on your mobile device or visit www.promedicaondemand.org to sign up. Signing up early will help save time later. Once you’ve signed up and created your account, you’re ready to begin a visit by selecting a provider – or you’re ready at a future date when needed.

Can my child receive care?

Yes, ProMedica OnDemand is open to all ages. When selecting a provider, please check individual bios for any age restrictions listed.

Parents and guardians can add their children who are under age 18 to their account for visits. Sign yourself up first, then add your child or dependent to your account. A child over 18 who is still on their parents’ health insurance should create their own separate account.

How do I add my spouse?

Your spouse should create a separate account to enroll.
