Paramount Elite Medicare members in eligible plans have access to a transportation benefit. If your plan includes this benefit, Paramount Elite will cover up to 24 one-way trips to medical-related activities, such as doctor appointments and pharmacy visits. When you need to schedule a trip, call Member Services. We’ll coordinate your trip request with our transportation provider, SafeRide Health.

To use this benefit, contact Paramount Elite Member Services toll free at 1-833-554-2335 (TTY: 711 for hearing impaired).
Representatives can help you to:
- Schedule trips.
- Check on your trip status.
- Cancel a trip and answer any questions.
Trips are limited to 35 miles, one way. All trips must take place in the Paramount Elite service area, which includes Fulton, Lucas, Ottawa, Sandusky and Wood counties in Ohio and Branch, Hillsdale, Lenawee, Monroe and Washtenaw counties in Michigan.
Please provide at least 24-hour notice if you need to cancel a trip. For medical emergencies, please call 911.
Paramount Elite Member Services representatives are available 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week, Oct. 1 through March 31 (except Thanksgiving and Christmas), and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday from April 1 through Sept. 30 (except holidays).

Does my plan have a transportation benefit?
The transportation benefit is offered on the following Paramount Elite plans: Elite Prime HMO-POS, Elite Enhanced HMO-POS, Elite Standard HMO-POS.
How far in advance should I schedule my trip?
Paramount Elite asks that you schedule all routine trips at least three business days in advance. If you have an urgent request, we will try our best to accommodate you based on the transportation availability at that time. Please be aware that transportation availability may not be guaranteed.
How many trips do I get?
Eligible Paramount Elite plans include 24 one-way trips to select locations throughout the year. Traveling to a destination is considered one trip and returning home is counted as a second trip.
How much will a trip cost me?
This benefit is available with no out-of-pocket cost to you.
What information do I need to schedule a trip?
Please be prepared to provide the following information:
- Your name
- Your date of birth
- Your Paramount Elite member ID number
- The pick-up and drop-off location information
- The date and time of your trip, and your return time (if applicable)
- If you require any accommodations because of a medical condition
Can someone schedule a trip on my behalf?
Yes. Call Member Services at 1-833-554-2335 (TTY: 711) to authorize a trusted friend or family member or a legal representative, such as a court-appointed guardian or power of attorney.

You’re able to book a ride for multiple medical-related locations such as doctor appointments, pharmacies, labs and more. Trips are limited to 35 miles, one way.

What if the trip is over 35 miles away?
This benefit does not cover trips over 35 miles.
Can someone come with me on my scheduled trips?
Yes. You are able to bring one family member, friend or personal care attendant over the age of 18 along with you.
