Asthma Clinical Guidelines
The 2007 Expert Panel Report III: Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Management of Asthma was released by the National Asthma Education and Prevention Program (NAEPP) and remains the most current guideline.
Attached please find the Stepwise Approach for Managing Asthma Long Term in Children, 0-4 years of Age and 5-11 Years of Age, And Stepwise Approach For Managing Asthma in Youths ≥ 12 Years of Age And Adults. As always, the stepwise approach is meant to assist, not replace, the clinical decision making required to meet individual patient needs.
Paramount's Medical Advisory Council (MAC) readopted these guidelines August 14, 2018.
